Maureen FitzSimons' early achievements in the performing arts (now known as Maureen O'Hara), would be considered, according to American standards, in the category of child prodigy. But for a person with Irish origin, and surrounded by gifted parents and family, these were very natural traits. Maureen was welcomed into the family-oriented home on August 17, 20th in Ranelagh. Her mother, Marguerita Lilburn FitzSimons, was an accomplished contralto. His father, Charles FitzSimons, managed an enterprise in Dublin and was also the owner of the renowned Irish soccer club "The Shamrock Rovers." Maureen FitzSimons first FitzSimons child. This interest was combined with an unnatural talent for performing. Her winning of almost every Feis awards for her native nation's theatre and drama was a testament to this.
