Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is a gold-medal-winning Olympic gymnast who has led her U.S. team to victories in 2012 and 2016. Aly has won six Olympic medals, and two World Championships gold medals. Aly born in Massachusetts who fell in love with gymnastics as young as 18 months old, after she was a student in a mommy-me class. Aly is a powerful leader both at both the ground and on it and an unwavering proponent of body positivity. She was also recently, she spoke out against Larry Nassar in his sentencing trial. Aly Raisman, born in 1994, started gymnastics as a young child and contributed to helping to lead the U.S. team to win the 2011 World Championships. The year 2012 saw Raisman win two gold medals during the London Olympics One for the team event, as well as an individual one in floor exercises, as well as one bronze on the beam. Raisman received silver in both the individual and floor finals of the 2016 Olympics in Rio. Additionally, she brought home a gold medal during the competition for team gymnastics. Raisman confessed in 2017 she was abused sexually by her former team physician Larry Nassar. The following year, she filed a lawsuit against USA Gymnastics as well as the U.S. Olympic Committee.
